By accessing or using Sofy's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Sofy provides synthetic training infrastructure for embodied AI. Our platform generates adaptive, physics-based simulation environments for training reinforcement learning agents. Services include environment generation, adaptive training curricula, and performance analytics. Our services are provided "as is" and are intended to accelerate agent training, not guarantee specific training outcomes.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features of our services, you may need to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly update any information that changes
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use our services for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of our services
- Upload malicious code or content
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
- Use generated environments to develop weapons or cause harm
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of our services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Sofy and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without prior written consent.
6. Your Data & Generated Environments
You retain ownership of any training metrics, configuration data, or content you submit to our services. Environments generated by Sofy are licensed to you for use in your training pipelines. By using our adaptive training features, you grant us a limited license to process your performance metrics solely for the purpose of improving environment generation. We do not access your model weights or training infrastructure.
7. Payment Terms
For paid services, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy. We reserve the right to change our pricing with reasonable notice.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Sofy generates simulation environments to assist with agent training and does not guarantee specific training outcomes, sim-to-real transfer performance, or physical-world results.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sofy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of our services.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sofy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease.
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated terms on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
